To apply for a RYE Houston Youth Exchange program, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Contact Your Local Rotary Club
Contact your local Rotary club or visit their website and find out about the youth exchange program. Click here to find your local club.
Step 2: Fill Out Your Online Application
Step 3: Submit Required Documents
After you submit your application you will receive an email with instructions on completing these four items:
- Medical Questionnaire
- Official High School Transcript
- School Reference (requested via URL link)
- Sponsored Rotary Club Guarantee Form
The local Rotary Club that sponsors you should contact you for a pre-interview in mid to late October

- December 4th, 2021: Rotary District 5890 Interview Day – Student & Parent(s)
- If the local club approves your application, you will receive notification from RYE Houston as to what time of the day your interview will be on December 5th.
- You will receive additional items on Interview Day to complete before you are assigned to a country.
